principal with Language & Culture Worldwide where he
brings over 16 years of personal and
professional cross-cultural experience—including

periods in Eastern and Western Europe, South
America, and the Caribbean. Born in the U.S.,
his focus at LCW is on intercultural training
design and delivery, as well as translation and
consulting projects.
As part of LCW
initiatives to increase our clients'
competency for leveraging and working with
today’s global markets, Randall has designed
and developed cross-cultural programs for
groups ranging from Fortune100 firms to
world class educational institutions.
Randall also manages the
translation, localization, and global delivery
services for various organizations, helping to
communicate global compliance and ethics messages in
numerous languages for thousands of their employees
and suppliers on four continents. While
consulting to a leader in the media industry, he
worked with the Vice President of Strategic
Management and Operations to design and implement systems
and processes aimed at enhancing the performance of
the employees at their newest channel and
website. With a global consulting firm, Randall worked with a
team of fellow consultants to implement a process
re-engineering at the worldwide training
headquarters. Additionally, Randall has
worked as a bilingual recruiter for a temporary
services agency and as an international quality control
engineer for a medical instruments firm.
Complementing his
undergraduate work in International Studies, he
received his International M.B.A. from the
University of Chicago’s Graduate School of
Business in Management, Strategy, and Economics.
He has also pursued on-going professional
development such as those found at the Summer
Institute for Intercultural
Communication in Oregon and the Intercultural
Development Inventory (IDI) Qualifying Seminar.
He is proficient in adult-learning
methodologies, counseling, and language
instruction. Randall's first professional
experience as a trainer was with a premiere language
school where he led Spanish and English language
training programs for small groups and
individuals.
For nearly three years,
Randall served as an educator and technical
trainer for the U.S. Peace Corps in Latvia. He was responsible
for the design and facilitation of two intensive 11-week pre-service technical
training programs, preparing incoming Volunteers
to work in the Latvian education system. As an educator in Latvian
education system,
Randall worked primarily with students in grades
7-12. During this time, he also led
teacher-training seminars, worked short-term
with elementary school children in grades 2-4,
and presented at international and multi-lingual
workshops.
Randall began developing
his cross-cultural skills in 1987 as an AFS
exchange student in Santo Domingo, Dominican
Republic. His time at Colegio Loyola, one of
the country's most demanding high schools,
was the beginning of what would eventually
become a very international personal and
professional life. Randall is proud to
speak numerous languages well, the strongest
of which include Spanish, Portuguese,
Latvian, and
