Working with India is designed to help you appreciate and then leverage culture’s impact on doing business with India. We enable you to collaborate more fruitfully across borders to develop a foundation for achieving common goals while building respect and mutual understanding. More importantly, we help ensure sustained success as you interact and communicate with your Indian colleagues.

Who Should Attend?

  • US-based teams
  • Human Resource professionals
  • Department Managers
  • Sales and Marketing Executives/Relationship Managers
  • Professionals and teams that work virtually with India
  • Traveling SMEs

Key Topics:

  • Trends and traditions shaping the diversity of India today
  • Effective virtual relationship-building strategies
  • Frameworks for navigating cultural challenges
  • American and Indian decision-making styles
  • Business acumen for working with your Indian counterparts

Preparation: Participants are asked to bring real-life issues they have been experiencing when working and communicating with their Indian colleagues.

Benefits/Outcomes: Participants will come away with a deeper understanding of U.S. and Indian cultures and the tools needed to work more effectively, both virtually and in-person, with their Indian colleagues and the skills to navigate those differences in a business context.

Methodology: Lecture, discussion, small-group work and interactive case study resolution.  The virtual workshop is conducted using the Adobe® Acrobat® Connect platform, allowing for interactivity that parallels the classroom version.
