Keri Luo

As LCW's Design Director, Keri Luo helps making our content visually stunning -- everything from our presentation and training materials to videos, eLearning, and toolkits. Keri brings to LCW her more than 15 years of extensive experience working across multiple design media.

Keri was born in Chengdu, China and raised in academic environment where her parents taught as professors at a university. She has loved art and literature since a very young age. Keri earned her BA in Education at the Chengdu College of Education and worked at a top advertising agency for a few years in China before coming to the U.S. to pursue further education in art and design.

After earning her master’s degree in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she moved to Chicago and worked as a senior graphic and digital designer in the Chicago area. Her design works have won multiple awards during her professional career.

As she grew up, she saw China has transformed from a closed, cultural revolutionary country to an opened and reformed one, as it is today. As she moved to the United States, she began to learn the cultural differences between the east and west. Her background and those dynamic experiences gave her a great interest in human issues.

In her spare time, Keri enjoys reading and writing. Her poetry was selected into "The Best Chinese Poetry Selection of the 21st Century". She is also the author of a published poetry book "When the Wind Blows", and photography book entitled "365 Lake Michigan” which is in the process of publishing.
