Larry Baker, Consultant

Larry BakerLarry brings 20 years of adult learning experience in Leadership Development, Performance Improvement, and Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Larry has enjoyed a rich professional career that has expanded across multiple industries and has forged relationships with many Fortune 500 companies across the United States. He leverages his learning and development background in industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Human Resources, Call Centers, and IT to design learning programs and experiences that offer practical, performance-based impact. Larry strongly values the trust endowed to him by clients and goes above and beyond to ensure clients feel heard, understood, but most importantly that he will deliver as promised. More so, Larry often finds himself as an integral member of a client team, where he supports their efforts in designing and developing Leadership programs that consistently exceeded their expectations and accomplishes business objectives. As a master level facilitator, Larry has been described as “impactful, engaged, and motivating” by his clients. His unique ability to take the learner on a “pathway to discover” is what you can expect from his sessions.

Larry has a B.S. in Sociology, from Illinois State University. This allows Larry to have an ability to examine how an individual’s social condition could potentially have a systemic impact on an organization’s inclusion objectives. Larry’s primary objective in life is to be a good steward of his time, talents and his treasures. He hopes this will encourage and inspire individuals to cultivate a deeper self-awareness that allows them to enhance their relationships with their families and the communities that they live in.

Larry and his wife have been blessed with three wonderful children. Away from work you can expect Larry to be at one of his children’s events or rooting for his Chicago-based favorite sports teams (Da Bears, Da Bulls and of course the ISU Redbirds!!). Larry also enjoys participating in activities sponsored within his church.
